Survey Information
The team at Let Babies Eat is collecting data about women’s experiences feeding their babies at church. This survey is designed for women who are lactating or have lactated and fed their baby at church, regardless of feeding method. Many questions are specifically addressed to women who have chosen to breastfeed at church. Participants are welcome to answer the questions applicable to them though not all questions may apply to individual circumstances.
By submitting this survey, you consent to the team at Let Babies Eat anonymizing, aggregating and analyzing your data with responses from other participants, and reporting findings from the survey in various venues not limited to newspaper articles and other periodicals, blog posts and on the website Let Babies Eat. At the end of the survey, you will have a chance to give your permission for the team at Let Babies Eat to possibly publish some of your submitted responses to our website Let Babies Eat (Our Stories Page.) All of your responses will remain anonymous unless you submit your email address at the end of the survey and indicate that you wish to be identified on our website by name or location.
Possible risks include triggering negative memories or emotions and being recognized by readers from details shared in your responses. You can minimize the risks of being recognized by leaving out identifiable information (such as ward names, locations, names of you, your baby or other ward members, including leadership). If at any point you are triggered or upset by answering a question, you can skip the question, walk away from the survey to complete it later, or exit the survey. If you wish your earlier answers to be recorded, scroll to the bottom of the form and click “Submit.”
Let Babies Eat is a not a research institution and is hosting this survey as grassroots maternal infant health advocates, neither will our team use your data for personal gain in anyway. Your participation provides members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the opportunity to better understand the challenges faced by LDS women with young infants while attending church meetings.
